Tell your favorite small youtubers, the ones you know always reply, they have high incentive to post to more platforms and try to get more visibility by being early to a platform like peertube. Better than ppl who already know of it like us here, more linux, selfhosting, blender, foss, etc. youtuebrs should post there.

We need more middling youtubers that have high quality content but low views to post there, a lot of scrappy low effort unedited stuff on there

The issue is just they all think theyll be one of those top 5%ers making 6 figs a month retiring quickly, and it can’t be everyone

I know a few girls who made one, and it didnt do particularly well, so after a couple months or a year or two they deleted them and any mention of them, got a new friend group and swapped cities, and are now dating ppl again. Out of the 4 that I still know/follow on social media that come to mind, 3 have been in relationships for over a year at least and 2 swapped to like clean conservative girl aesthetics.

Kinda of an interesting pipeline, a lot of them think theyll blow up fast and overestimate themselves, don’t work for it or realize its mostly/only ppl they know secretly buying their stuff and get creeped out. They don’t realize its a job and unless they already have social media fame it wont work out, so a lot of girls literally try to blow up just to makw retirement onlyfans money.

End of they day some of them do make a shit ton of money if it suceeds, like go retire in a high income area away and just say you do remote work . its easy enough to change your appearence by just aging, haircut, makeup, etc. and not being in the public for a while. They can just move states/towns, etc. if it’s an issue. Like look at ppls sub costs, then look at their subscribers, some of them make 6 figures monthly, if you thought you could wouldn’t you?

Becuss the government wont subsidize it, in a perfect world instead of the police or military a little bit of money could go to it so companies have incentive to hire someone and give them the same pay while they work less days?

If that works for you thats fine, I just end up switching to an asking for answers way of thinking vs trying to figure it out for myself, and then when it inevitably fails I get caught in a loop trying to get an answer outof it when I could’ve just learned on my own from the start and gotten way further because my brain would be trying to figure it out and puzzle it together instead of just waiting for the ai to do it for me.

I used to hype up ai til fairly recentlly, hasnt been long since I realized the downsides. Ill use it only for stuff I dont care about or could be googled and found in seconds. If its something id be be betterr of learning or doing a tut once, I just do that instead of skipping to the result. It can be a time saver, can also actively hold you back. It’s solid fir stuff you already know, tedious stuff, but skipoing to intermediate results without the beginner knowledge/experience is just screwing your progress over.
