Yeah… I’ve come to realize some things just done appeal to me anymore. Anything that I see is multiplayer ONLY I just toss. I just cant get into competitive multiplayer anymore. Some games if they look boring I won’t try, like the 20th ww2 rts/greand strategy game. I just dont care about certain games anymore.
Conversely sequels to games I already played and enjoyed automatically go in the play queue.
I have over 6000 games… I’ve been doing this for 2 years and am down to 1300 to try still. Maybe another year yet, depends how dedicated I will be. Problem is even after culling I’ve got over 300 turn based rpgs I want to play and a similar number of 2d platformers and I still will not physically have the ability to play them before I die.

I mainly use PayPal as a necessary evil so I don’t have to pull out my wallet and put the card info in every time I want to buy a game. I dunno maybe I SHOULD go back to that because then only the games that are worth the effort of getting up off the couch are the ones I’d buy.

I’m almost offended for my profession. Most of the programmers I know are quite tech literate, to the point it floors me when I find a coworker who is tech illiterate. Like, bro, it’s literally our job.
I mean… Kinda Baldurs Gate 3, especially if you are a high charisma class. You can also be monk. They key is dont use attack spells, and knock everyone out instead of killing them on thr mandatory fights. SO MANY of the fights in that game can be avoided or skipped with dialogue. You can, for example, bluff your way entirely into the enemy bases, use their shops, and completely decide to stay out of conflicts. Again, like you said in NV, sometimes the ‘pacifist’ routr makes you feel like shit. Like, you can skip having to side with either Minthara or the tieflings in act 1 simply by leaving for act 2. A lot of people die in the background though.
Only mandatory fights I think are at the end of act 2, and the final boss fight. Everything else can be avoided or conversationally skipped. In the final fight, depending on allies you got throughout the game you can technically have them fight everyone. Or you can just stealth past everything with greater invisibility or as monk or rogues that can sprint really fast.
Does Pedro Pascal really have an accent though? Every interview i can find of him he sounds very american. Only when he said his name did I even hear a hint of a Chilean accent.

So far as I know, AI can only make like 10-second videos. This is much longer a continuous shot. Plus if you just look at the way the wind is blowing the cloth behind the barrier, the shadows are all correct as it bangs against it. I’m no forensics person but that seems pretty realistic to me.

I thought aleverything was fishy as fuck with thr shooting, down to the timing of it when he was really falling behind in polls, to thr secret service keeping him on stage instead of IMMEDIATELY ushering him off stage, to the absolutely perfect propaganda shot. I used to read physical books all the time when I was younger, but as I aged and audiobooks became downloads instead of massive multiple disc CD sets, I shifted. Isn’t because I can’t read anymore, and my eyes havent failed me yet that I need reading glasses, but I just like doing OTHER THINGS while reading. Plus I extra love when voice actors make it a PERFORMANCE. In ye old days it used to be just a narrator reading the words, often tonelessly, but Audible books these days are PERFORMANCES. I like popping on an audio book while im driving, while im in bed trying to fall asleep, and while im playing a grindy part in a video game. Or a video game that doesn’t have voice acting so I can enjoy 2 stories simultaneously, or Roguelike video games where there’s no story at all, or story beats only occur when you’re at your home base.

Yeah, I’ve found some real unexpected gems within my own library that I never knew I bought. Mostly through bundles. My absolute favorite discovery is a small adventure game named Little Misfortune, and I find myself quoting it often. Yikes forever.
