    Self-driving cars are in fact very safe, but…

    Please, explain to me how private folks can so openly influence the government for personal gain. Governments in most democratic countries would dissolve over this.

    Self driving cars are perfectly safe and any deaths that happen due to this rule change are isolated incidents.

      Just like how McDonald’s got everyone to blame the woman with 3rd degree burns on her crotch, even though she only wanted her medical bills paid and McDs ignored regulators. They will make everyone blame the driver for not paying attention.
