I’ve been on Pandora for a long time now and, as someone above said, I enjoy the “radio” aspect of it to discover new music.
That, and isn’t Joe Rogan on the Spotify payroll?
And still underpaying the artists compared to Apple Music

the company’s expenses for research and development, marketing, and administrative costs totaled a staggering €978 million
What did they research then lol
How to make the most annoying, shitty player with no options and customizability which lags on any device. Money please!
It also says marketing, so who knows how much of that is actually for research and development.
I imagine spotify could research how to make their data centers and delivery more efficient, music suggestion algorithms, or just in general how to best retain and aquire new customers.
About to be 219,999,999 after this price hike
Are people really unsubbing over a dollar a month? Seems kinda insignificant if you’re actually using the service.

So should salaries, but that ain’t happening. All services are increasing in price. Food has increased in price like 50% or more over the last year you bet I’m reevaluating if I need a subscription every time the price increases. And if I cancel I’m not only saving the increased amount, I’m saving the entire subscription cost.
I never had a subscription. If you guys use android, go to fdroid and download musify or black hole. Save your $$ and avoid buying stuff from Google, Amazon, spotify and Facebook. Save internet from going to shits.
Where do musify and black hole get their content from?
Blackhole uses YouTube API but not sure about musify
