And how are we going to do that when we gave the keys to the party that banned ranked choice voting in 10 states?
“I am going to kill you” – death threat
“I am going to send you back to the lobby” – funny Fortnite joke
I’m not angry and I’m certainly not a centrist. All I wanna know is what you’re doing to justify taking the moral high ground. Seeing an obvious problem (the DNC is a dumpster fire) doesn’t get you points with anyone.
If all you do is post, you’re just noise. Do you participate in any kind of direct action? Do you volunteer? Are you advocating for anything, or are you just venting?
It’s okay, man, you’re not alone. Most people don’t do anything. Civic disengagement is kind of the status quo anymore.
What are you doing other than bitching about the opposition party on Lemmy? Genuinely curious.
we all kinda forget how big the divide is
Obligatory pixel wealth link:
I’ve only been on lemmy for like a week, so I have no point of comparison here. It doesn’t feel janky to me, but then I’m not a power user. It works well for what I like to do, which is view posts and comment. Images display well, I haven’t noticed any problems with video. I haven’t tried embedding images in comments yet, let’s try it with a photograph of the richest man in Indiana:
Give Thunder a second shot, or don’t. I’m not your boss, I’m just some drunk guy on the Internet.
earlier than initially projected
There’s that phrase again. If only someone had warned us loudly and repeatedly.
Have you tried Thunder? I’ve been using it since I finally got around to moving over here (admittedly not very long) and I’ve found that Thunder gets a lot right. It’s open source, ad-free, cross-platform, and nice to use. It doesn’t have quite as much polish as Relay but the design language is similar enough that it doesn’t feel like a huge departure.
Voting is the least we can do besides doing nothing. Which makes it pretty disappointing that so many people will be all like “oh voting doesn’t do anything, we should tear down the government instead” and then they proceed to do neither of those things.
It didn’t ship with my controller, I had to order it extra. I looked it up and apparently they started shipping the backplate standard with the second run of controllers. Hopefully the new controller also uses a dongle, because good god do I hate Bluetooth. Being able to plug the damn thing in and have it work on any machine instead of faffing about with BT unpairing and repairing like I do with my Xbox controller is so nice.
I’m sure they’ll make a steam controller: episode 1.
I really regretted only buying one the first time around. At least I got the backplate with the dongle storage.
There’s no such thing as a “UK.” Oh sure, there’s this island full of TERFs next to Europe that does things like eat “beans on toast” and where if you say the word “tiddlywinks” in a court of law you’re taken seriously instead of laughed out of the place. Get real, Britain was made up by Scholastic to sell books to third graders.
obviously a skyrim reference. This is why dj Khaled is the realest. The first gamer rapper,
