  • Chatbprs are genAI. Any artificial intelligence like NPCs, autopilot, playing games against the machine, playing chess against the machine… All of those have been called AI.

GenAI is a subset where what the AI does is generate text or images instead of taking a deterministic option. GenAI describes pretty well what it does generate a text or image output, no matter the accuracy of the text. The AI is optimised to generate output that looks like what you would expect with the given input, and generally it does exactly that, even if it hallucinated facts to fit the idea of the response that they are supposed to give with the given input.

  • Salami is an umbrella term for various food items. Spaniard longaniza, chorizo, fuet, salchichón, Italian mortadella… Are all called salami outside. Kinda embarrassing NGL but they all have different spices and complementary ingredients and are made from different parts of the animal, so I guess that you can’t really say that “salami” overall is safe or not.

Edit: funnily enough none of those show up lmao. Blood sausage doesn’t either and I bet that much healthier than a classic sausage. There’s different kinds of sausage too, a bratwurst is different from a frankfurter (the one you probably thought about, a longer hotdog kind version).

  • I sometimes forget or delay updates because of life and have over 500 updates. Skim through them if they are patches, minors or majors, and just run. In any case, my disk’s are brtfs and I have timeshift for backups. If anything breaks horribly a live USB can restore it, if anything is weird I can restore it via UI. It autoruns every time I run Pacman and stores 5 copies of the “before” state. It also creates a daily copy for the last 5 days so 10 copies in total.

It’s more than enough that if something fails I’ll have something to go back to, and since it internally works with something akin to hardlinks snapshots don’t take that much space.

I’ve not had issues since setting it up, so, great.
