Yes, and this is pretty common with tools like Aider — one LLM plays the architect, another writes the code.
Claude code now has sub agents which work the same way, but only use Claude models.

I always hear people saying Gemini is the best model and every time I try it it’s… not useful.
Even as code autocomplete I rarely accept any suggestions. Google has a number of features in Google cloud where Gemini can auto generate things and those are also pretty terrible.
Oof, been there
Wow, America is actually completely gone now.
It’s harder for us to send them off on an ice floe these days.
I can’t tell if this is satire or
You get totally different answers to “is X healthy” vs “is X unhealthy”
But yeah, if ChatGPT tells you to order restricted substances on the internet, probably don’t do that
I’m 100% for workers rights, but is stop killing games about workers rights or consumer rights?
If you try and push every issue through every protest/movement you’re watering it down and making it easier and easier for people to dismiss it as unreasonable or unclear.
Pulling the cubes would reduce the surface area for friction and prevent the leading edge from catching on the ground causing sudden stops.
And here we go again, globbing every bleeding heart cause onto something that remotely has traction, only to inevitably smother it and snuff out any momentum the movement has.
Good, I’ve had enough of these assholes.
Go back to the US if you love Trump so much, I don’t want to hear your proselytizing for such an awful man.
Superman is an illegal alien.
I agree, but people have been heavily misusing it since like 2018
I try not to get facts from LLMs ever
I do use RAG and tools to push content into them for summarization/knowledge extraction.
But even then it’s important to have an idea of your model biases. If you train a model that X isn’t true, then ask it to find info on the topic it’s going to return crap results.
When we started calling literal linear regression models AI it lost all value.
I asked this what it thought of the US governments pivot on trans rights and it similarly did not believe the last 7 months could have happened.
I had to get it to read the Wikipedia article on the year 2025 and it actually decided to stop reading.
ETA: to clarify, it was using a fetch tool to read the page, and decided to stop reading more chunks of the page.
And so now they have to train their models to acknowledge there are only two genders and deny anything “woke”
We’ll see if that affects the public models.
For me the decentralization means we can always take our party somewhere else if it gets enshittified.
Invite only instances are probably going to have to become a thing soon. Like how 99% of Reddit doesn’t let you comment with a new account until you look less like spam.
But at least here you will always be able to join/start a server to host your account.
Yeah I can’t check at the moment, but it has been an issue for me for a while.
I was very confused why it would fetch the weather for Paris randomly with some models, and it was even more confusing because I was learning MCP by writing a weather tool (so the LLMs were getting conflicting instructions).
There’s no frontier where I choose Gemini except when it’s the only option, or I need to be price sensitive through the API
