Glass containers waste tons of energy from extra transport, to needing so much water and remelting when the inevitably chip and and break. We’re using plastic because it’s by a wide margin the best packaging material we have.

glass. glass bottles. or, unlined reusable metal botles. they’ve been around forever as well.
Metal bottles need plastic liners not to conraminate and spoil their contents.
