So far so good. My kid is having a sleepover this Saturday so mentally preparing now for double the teenage “fun”. Work has been productive! Now preparing for the inevitable crash and burn lol.
I started playing a solo RPG called Life on the Homestead.
How it works is , you set up your homestead at the beginning by rolling dice for various characteristics. Then for each day of gameplay you draw a card (from a standard deck of playing cards). For each card there is a corresponding prompt. You write out a scenario based on the prompt.
It felt a little bit like homework at the beginning, but I’m enjoying it now!
About to bail on my HR job because I’m shit at it. Redoing my resume to try and get an IT position instead. I’m young enough to pivot. I also have work experience and half of a master’s, which is more than 99% of people applying for Helpdesk jobs. Only problem is I’ll probably be taking a huge pay cut and still need to make rent. We’ll see how it goes.
Good luck!
Test comment, don’t mind me
