Somebody on here suggested Weawow, so I’ve been using that recently, along with BBC Weather and Openweather.

I only use the BBC’s. No idea if it the “best”. What criteria are you using? Accuracy? Usability? Features? The bar is pretty low for a weather app.

    Windy.com

Probably with UKV as the main forecast model to check. Should definitely compare the other models as well to get a clearer picture of what to expect.

Another vote for Windy. They now have the UKV High-res model (provided by The Met Office). The live rainfall radar is also Met data.

The other one to try is The Met Office official app. Depends what you’re after really. If it’s a general reliable forecast, official Met app. More layers, compare different models etc., then Windy.

I try to limit the amount of personal data being shared, so I really like the Hello Weather app for their privacy policy (although a lot of their features are behind a paywall).

Other than that, I use Apple Weather since I figure Apple already has my data anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I use Google (since it’s caked into my phone), BBC Weather and Met Office.

They all report different things. I often try to go with the two that are closest. I’ve had it before though where two will say it’s dry and Google said rain. I went with the two and it rained…

I’m using Today Weather but I’ve never really found it that great since Apple killed the Dark Sky data Source. That said it has quite a few data Source choices so I can’t really fault them for that.

Flowx. There’s a learning curve, as it works differently to most, but it’s amazing when you know it
