Oh, nice to see more topic-specific instances. Would you be interested in joining https://fediverser.network to add the instance and its communities to its database?
I made the community, not the instance. Not sure if that’s what you’re asking. Haha.
Okay, I signed up with the community (wasn’t sure if I should the instance since I didn’t make it. Not sure on etiquette there). Also submitted an application to be an ambassador for the community. I chose community forum for the category, as there isn’t an option for faith & spirituality/religious content. If it’s within your purview, I’d suggest adding that as a category. Lemmy doesn’t have a ton, but there are a few around here. Especially when moving toward the wicca and pagan end of the spectrum. Cool folks at the witchy memes community, for instance.
The instance gets automatically created once you create the community. ;)
I created a “Religion and Spirituality” category and added to your community.
Regarding the other communities, feel free to add them even if you don’t have any more information about it. The whole database works as wiki and is meant to be built collaboratively.
How do I use it to find new communities? Might be a mobile browser issue, but when I try, it doesn’t populate a list in the subreddits section. Was hoping to see if there were some alternatives to my former subs
Does it work if you go to https://fediverser.network/subreddits/create ?
Depends, I might be using it wrong. If I try to type in a subreddit, I get a 500 error
If you are seeing a 500 error, then it’s definitely an error on the server side. I will investigate it and let you know when I find the fix. Just to confirm: are you logged in when you access the site?
