So Xbox bought the studio about 3 years ago and then just went ‘nah, not profitable.’ Fuck Xbox.
This comic almost has an xkcd flavour to it.
Back to the ol’ times of Windows.
I’ve seen Fedora lauded for being so responsive, and I’d probably go for that over the super bloated Ubuntu. I know it’s not debloated either but that is preferable over dealing with Arch which needs a lot of tinkering time which eats into my work time.
The fact that OP is asking for support/help and this guy looks like he’s a project that needs endless support tells me they’re not a good match.
The long distance part is a bit of a message from reality to sort of say: ‘Stay apart please…(for your own good, but if you won’t listen that is fine by me, go spend a few years of your life learning what I meant)’
Because I’m looking at my phone.
But that’s ok, everyone hates meta here.
This is kind of really meta right now.
YouTube already did the math, as did almost every single company and corporation on the planet.
There’s a lot more revenue in advertising than subscriptions, especially on a website that started off entirely free (so Netflix for example goes in the subscription model rather than the advertising model but that seems to have changed!)
There’s a mass of people who follow up on these advertisements. The latest advertisements I’ve encountered on YouTube are really really calculated and well scripted. For example the digital dollar advertisements sound like they’re going to save you from financial ruin. It’s clever and it’s working. Money is pouring in.
The Chinese consumers have been eating up ads like that for their TVs to power on for roughly half a decade at least. I’m talking Xiaomi. Chinese consumers are the perfect ad(shit)-eating consumer; so docile and they like to burn money (I mean, they do…literally).
Well I know for sure he was a coked up one. And if he’s not a psychologist, then he was just cokehead.
In UK it is compulsory to stop at the line, and then you start edging forward. So logically it’s further back so that instead of wildly driving into a main road you creep into it. The stop line slows traffic all the way down so they’re driving out into that road at 10 mph perhaps.
Not sure if this comment was supposed to end with /s or you actually unintentionally just listed the classic Reddit scenario.
For some reason I think of Fred from Scooby Doo
Depends on how far you push it in.
Seems that bullies have a poor mental health history.
I had an old Rover 25 which I was surprised to hear had a more sports type engine, even for its size. Which was why it was quite responsive at 4k rpm and pretty good for handling. Got really good at driving it after some time.
I came round a corner too fast and luckily there was no car on the opposite side where I was veering into. I never messed around after that.
I saw the video about a year ago, the one posted by gamma on this thread and the general summary I got from the video is that:
It’s a very grey area that isn’t regulated well.
Those apple pie slices that came in the card carton thing? So crispy and beautiful.
