  • IMO, I still think there’s not enough infrastructure to support charging EVs. Don’t get me wrong I’ve seen some. Just… Not a lot. Until charging is as prevalent as gas its just not worth it. Or if you have a house I guess.

In some areas I hear it’s good. But in my area there’s only 1 set of charging stations at a Wawa that I know of. And that Wawa is an hour drive away. Plus I’m at a rental complex that mows the lawns regularly and having a cable run from my house to the car is not allowed.

My current gas operated vehicle has about 160000 miles on it. I’m hopeful that my vehicle will last a long time. And then when my vehicle dies, I’ll look at the infrastructure again and see if it’s beneficial for me to switch to an EV. I’m going to continue to wait until it’s beneficial for me to buy a new car.

    We’ll see how it goes.

  • Every Saturday I’ve been going to my local game store and playing various card and/or board games.

A lot of the time we play Magic the Gathering. Sometimes we play Dungeons and Dragons.

But I also have a whole backpack of a bunch of other games I bring for variety sake.

Just recently I finally got my physical copy of “Fools Blade”. It’s a new card game where players collect sword parts and craft their own swords to go adventuring (both PvE and PvP). I’m super stoked to play it.

  • I beat Dot Hack Infection, Mutation, Outbreak, and Quarantine in order back when they were first releasing on the PS2 in the US. And importing my memory card save every time.

My friend witnessed me defeat the final boss in Quarantine. It was such a long and crazy fight. And the whole thing was just mindblowing.

Sadly I don’t have any pictures or videos of it. And I traded in my PS2 a long time ago.

I have been considering revisiting the game but it’s a big game with ALOT of content. I don’t know when I’ll get around to it.

    Good times and Good memories.

  • My desktop is for home and gaming use. However I also have a gaming laptop which I bought for whenever I travel. That said, I don’t travel much… shrug

I actually ended up using my gaming laptop as a way of playing VR games in my room so that I have more privacy. Although I’ll still unplug and take it with me whenever I travel.

I also just recently got a Samsung Galaxy S24+ and a touchscreen display to use DeX mode as a tablet of sorts. Mostly for note taking when I don’t want to take my heavy gaming laptop.

I’m all over the place lol. I also work in the tech field. Computer Programmer. So yeah… lol.

  • My favorite controller currently is: “Gulikit Kingkong 2 Pro”

It has hall effect sensors for the sticks and triggers so pretty much drift proof.

The layout is similar to a switch controller but the buttons can be swapped for a more Xbox-ish layout.

You can look it up on amazon. I bought it back in Nov 2022 and it still hasn’t failed me.

  • My version of a TLDR:

Spotpass is a wireless tech that would auto connect with other 3ds or Wii U systems that were in the immediate area albeit with a limited range. It was their way of having a social community. Sort of like how you might meet other people while walking around outside.

In the case of Spotpass, when you connected, it would show you the user’s profile, their favorite games, etc. And in some cases for specific games it would provide special DLCs or content that cannot be found elsewhere.

Hence why we’d want to preserve that data since some DLC and other features are exclusive to Spotpass.
