It must be very hard for these investigators knowing that Trump may be throwing away all their efforts by pardoning these terrorists in the very near future.

Something like this maybe?
And I bet they add some lines to the pledge of allegiance too. They’ll squeeze Trump’s name in there somehow. After all, these people think he’s the second coming.
Corporations always get in the mindset of, “Rake in the profits now and well deal with the consequences later.” When the consequences are decades away, it never really becomes later to them. They just focus on the profits.
These are civil trials, not criminal, and can not it be pardoned.
Rose said online that she told an officer she’d been assaulted and the cop said, “Well, you went to his door.”
Clearly the rule of law is dead now.
“Nobody should be turning up at any bodies [sic] house uninvited,” Tate posted Monday. “Harassment.”
These idiots somehow think that assaulting and robbing someone who rings their doorbell is the appropriate thing to do.
The alt-right reaction is never the right reaction.
What makes you think Vance wouldn’t be worse? He’s knee deep in Project 2025 and seems more than willing to see that through to the end.
Not how it works. Gestures, like words, have a meaning. Even in the USA, saying certain words in certain ways can get you arrested; harassment, threats, etc. This gesture is meant to convey threat and to harass religious and racial minorities. There is no other reason to make the gesture.
And the little bugger is still chugging along. Amazing.
Trump has refused to say what he’ll do because threatening Social Security during an election would cost him a lot of votes from seniors. On the other hand, now that he has won, Republicans have started freely admitting that Project 2025 is the plan for this administration. Project 2025 has this to say about Social Security.
Project 2025’s 900-page Mandate for Leadership fails to propose any solutions for Social Security and says, on page 710, that its proposals for the program could not be “covered here in depth.” Notably, that line was co-authored by economist Stephen Moore, who has advocated to slash and privatize Social Security, once calling it a “Ponzi scheme” and encouraging students to burn their Social Security cards. Kevin Roberts, the president of the Heritage Foundation, has also gone on record to say the Mandate for Leadership manifesto is just the basis of their plan and “there are parts of the plan that we will not share with the left.” Last month, his organization called for raising the retirement age, and the author of that analysis, Rachel Greszler, is listed as a Project 2025 contributor.
I would hazard to guess that the incoming administration will, at the very least, try to raise the Full Retirement Age to 69. I will be pleasantly shocked if they don’t try to privatize it as well.
Right? Democratic administrations have done better in almost every case for the last 75 years!
For well over a decade economists and other social scientists have documented a strong advantage in economic performance during Democratic administrations. A new Economic Policy Institute report updates this work to the latest data available and confirms that this Democratic advantage persists. Positive indicators like growth in gross domestic product (GDP), income, and wages are faster, while negative indicators like unemployment, inflation, and interest rates are lower. Further, the fruits of economic growth are distributed substantially more equally under Democratic presidents.
Grabbing pussies. She’s in favor of that.
You better watch your mouth or he’ll send Seal Team 6 to delete your ass. It’ll be an official act so it won’t be illegal for him to do so.
So they voted for the guy who’s stated goals of adding high tariffs to all imports and doing mass deportations of workers necessary to the agriculture industry will fuck the economy royally. Yeah, that makes sense.
If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison.
25, not 5. I hope he gets the maximum. Aside from juts the threat, if his plan had worked he might have gotten an innocent person locked up for a quarter century.
I was thinking of the main cast, really, but I honestly thought Gene Hackman was gone. Happy to be wrong about that.
Sadly, most of the players of the bit parts are gone too, including Danny Goldman, who played the medical student with a line. The little girl is still alive as if the shoe-shine boy and the other credited medical student. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised considering the movie is now 50 years old. Damn, I’m old. :(
I think that she was the last surviving actor from Young Frankenstein. Everyone else in that movie is gone now except the director. Mel Brooks is still kicking around at 98 years old.
Collagen, huh? Frankly I’m tired of knowing how cold the water in the toilet bowl is.
I love his response at the end of the article.
Dougan told the Post he wasn’t behind DC Weekly and other sites and said he didn’t know Korovin or Khoroshenky. He said he worked as an IT consultant for an American company.
“I will tell you hypothetically, if they were my sites,” he said, “then I am merely fighting fire with fire because the West is fucking lying about everything that’s happening,” Dougan said. “They are lying about everything.”
Those aren’t my websites… but if they were, "I AM FIGHTING FIRE WITH FIRE BATTLING THE CAPITALIST MENACE IN THE WEST AND WILL SEE YOUR NATION FALL, HA HA HA HA HA HA HA… ahem… hypothetically.
What makes you think he has two jobs? He’s a former Florida sheriff who, according the the article, “moved to Russia amid an FBI investigation” and is now a Kremlin-backed propagandist.
Fuck Cox.
