I disagree with a lot of what the people in this article are saying, except for not testing. I see no point, because my behavior won’t change. Not because I’m going to “hide it on my vacation” but because I’m going to rest in bed and mask in public regardless of what virus I’m infected with!

You should clean your walls now that you’ve got a sick design like that! I usually use the generic magic erasers. They work with friction so you don’t need water, but sometimes it helps.

Somewhat related, back in highschool I was really enjoying chemistry class. Super fun stuff, definitely a career path. Then when we were doing the math practices, I got a question wrong that I knew I combined correctly.

I asked the teacher and she said “oh yeah that one just doesn’t follow the rules” instantly killed my enjoyment of chemistry.

I’d also recommend something like my “Splay” shoes if you’re going to try it. They’re barefoot shoes that also have a wide toebox so that your shoes fit your toes instead of your toes fitting your shoes!

Before I switched to the wide toebox I also used boating shoes if you find some of those cheaper.

Things like converse are of course more mainstream, but at least have the “zero drop” aspect, so you’re closer to the ground but don’t quite feel the ground.

Everyone will say barefoot is bad for your knees, but that’s really only true if you’re running or jogging on concrete without letting your body adjust.

My feet used to ACHE at the end of the day, now they can still hurt sure, but it feels much more like a tired muscle instead of incorrect exercise if that makes sense.
