Seems he resigned from that department but I can’t find anything about him other than a piece talking about his wife since then. Nothing about his stance on policing, his job, etc.

No idea actually. Haven’t heard much about him since the story came out. I will have to look up what came of this, if anything is out there to know.
One of the cops’ spouse worked in the school and they had to physically restrain him from going in
i think it is older than that now isn’t it? I happened in 2016, i thought it came to the news in like 2019 or 2020… then again, life is like a blur to me, so…
You really think kids use consoles, to access social media, more than phones, and tablets?
He is banning his employees from using them at work.
this person is a troll. Look at their comment history. Everything is just insulting people, and lemmy, talking about how much smarter they are than everything. Everything says this is a troll personality.
If not, well they are so stupid they aren’t worth talking to.
No, China’s current economy is not communist. Nothing to do with Mao, or what I think about communism personally.
I mean, they already did that.
Not only have people, many people, told me this, but also that they are also harvesting the blood of the children.
I was on reddit within their first year. It was very much like you just described the lemmy community. The posts were all linux, communism, libertarians, lgbtq, typical nerd media discussion (star trek/wars, dr who, etc), and fringe communities. However, when I started, there was no commenting. That changed a few months later, and there were no sub reddits so it was just like /all and that is it.
This type of community was exactly what I was expecting. Early 4chan was this too. It just seems that these are the people that adopt new social media, and websites, early.
yup, if you can make just one post per day, even if it just to the void, it will be there, with recent posts, in case anyone else interested in the subject moves to lemmy
A way I have found to explain federated social media to people, that seems to work is this: Imagine reddit, but instead of one company, with one administration, owning the whole site, it is a bunch of different reddits, that are independently run, that choose which other reddits they wish to associate themselves with. When you log into one instance, you automatically can see, and interact with, all the other ones that one chooses to associate with. You can have accounts on as many instances as you would like, even having accounts on instances that do no associate with each other.
He is setting an example. He is an example that you can stack the supreme court with people who will do the bidding of their party, law be damned, and there is little to nothing to be done about it, at least not before it is too late. He is finally in a position where he doesn’t have to keep up with the act so much anymore.
Yeah, I wasn’t commenting on any of that. Regardless how dude looks, assuming it’s real, consent is absolute. Just pointing out that I have seen people get jacked in a year, if the right risks are taken and the hard work is put in.
Oh yeah, agree, genetics does play a significant part. Just commenting that I have seen people go from a normal build to pretty built in that time if the right risks are taken.
This really depends. I have seen people go from meh muscle build to pretty damn jacked after a year of hard work, and as much gear as they could find.
I notice you don’t mention the existential crisis most of the “humanity is doomed” sentiment comes from.
would you care to elaborate on what you believe should be done about this?
