I think last season they introduced “safer seas” where you can experience the game without others players interrupting your crews fun. Might be worth to check out

Wonderful game. It was my Lockdown game where me and my mates would just meet up and do whatever. The boat was our social hub and it was a great game to play in the background while just having a good time.
That’s just not true. The game sits at 91% positive reviews on steam and has a meta critic of 84.
I get how the scenery heavy aspect might not be every management enjoyers Cup of tea, but the it’s a well received game.
Take my compliment with a grain of salt since I think a lot of the management included caring for the animal needs which is something that’s completely gone in planet coaster. But at least the steam page mentions more needs of guest like shade from the sun or lifeguards near pools.
I feel you. As a fellow sandbox player I’m craving another creative game where I can just build beautiful steel monsters on sticks
Completely valid arguments but I feels like the first game developed really nice after release. IMO they made some great changes on demand of the community namely letting us place scenery on rides, the addition of custom support parts and more management options. Also ending the game with the thememakers tooltik was a really nice move to let the community run wild.
But I’m also a little scared since the steam page mentions just 4 themes (and the generic theme) and I’m fearing that they took some out to sell them as a dlc from day 1. I’m optimistic but caution is definitly well advised.
I’m completely on the contrary. I’ve played part one for around 500h and and only in sandbox. That said I’ve heard good things about the management of planet zoo, so hopefully your management desires can also be fulfilled.
I really liked it. I’ve never played RCT 1 or 2 but played a lot of 3 and spend a lot of hours in planet coaster. I’m the guy who loves to create beautiful rides. Parkitect was a really cool mechanic where utility buildings are considered immersion breaking for guests. Same goes for employee paths. Such functional structures as well as the delivery of goods to your stores inside the park should be hidden behind scenery to guests feel more immersed. In my parks this added a really cool dynamic where every area is a labyrinth of guest paths and employee paths which are visually separated from each other.
I think I would enjoy the oceanic setting of the first one more but I’ve heard this part improves the game itself mayorly. Would you agree on this statement?
Really cool. Does this improve perfomance?
What a shame. I wish all of them the best. They are not to blame for what went wrong
Are there even writers left? I think Tuulik left sometime last year and he was the last member of the original writing team
The cinematic team is killing it once again
I’m joyning you on the hypetrain. Hope it’s gets some good reviews
Honestly nothing there made me really exited. But if I have so give a favorite, I’ll go with Black Myth: Wukong, even if the trailer showed nothing of interest
The art direction in this one is simply breathtaking. Hopefully it’s a financial success
I understood the cease and desist more like a “we love what you’re doing here, but because of copyright, please don’t blatantly use our name” But I’m not used to legal speech so maybe I mayorly misunderstood this.
Could you elaborate on your point? I didn’t mean to downplay the game or the artistic achievement.
I still can’t believe how a little Bloodborne cart meme has lead to this. Amazing project
What a great coincidence. The post was right below it for me too
