I didn’t say heavier. I said dense. I wasn’t making a comment about the strength.

IKEA is a lot better quality than Walmarts build-your-own furniture. I have both. The IKEA stuff is a lot more dense, the connections are more precise and stronger, and overall the IKEA stuff is just better quality.
That’s just false. Particle board is without a doubt less dense than actual wood.
I feel like a lot of people might think miniature building/painting could be easy - or at least quick.
It isn’t.
What is that even suppose to mean in this context?
The only way for someone to make money in crypto is for someone else to lose it.
Crypto is a scam.
That is 100% what it is.
Republicans don’t get elected when the constituents are educated. So instead of changing their platform to align with educated opinions, they decided to dumb down the population.
They’ve been doing it for decades and it’s finally all coming to a head.
I’m a teacher and don’t see public schooling lasting more than 5 years.
Highlight of your day?
Any cheese substitutes maybe?
But there are.
That’s what I listed in my comment above. That was the point I was trying to make.
None of that changes that the capitalist system and capitalism have a direct impact on other areas of government.
Lobbiest that work for companies do that constantly because of Capitalism. It’s an entire field of work.
What do you mean by one policy?
Capitalism influences many areas of government directly.
It’s not just economics. It’s foreign policy, company regulations, individual protections, land ownership rights, etc. It’s an ongoing list. Even cultural rights are directly impacted by Capitalism.
It is one policy of a larger system.
Right, it’s an economic system that directly influences many parts of government.
Same as any other economic political system.
You’re just describing a political system.
Capitalism is an economic system with as little government intervention possible.
Doesn’t the bolded part make it a political system then?
This is a bot isn’t it?
Some people tried to replace capitalism with a totally different system and it went real bad real fast. This wasn’t an isolated incident. They tried it in a bunch of places and in none of them did it work.
What examples are you thinking of?
My family became very Anti-Vax during that time. My wife and I had just had a newborn about a year in to the pandemic and demanded everyone get their vaccines before they got to be around the baby.
My parents didn’t get any and didn’t see the baby for a while.
Then when we did start seeing them, they had completely lost their minds. Blatantly racist, blatantly homophobic. Even when it wasn’t things political, it felt like they had forgotten how to properly talk to people in an appropriate way. My mother made comments about my DAD having relations with my wife and that the baby wasn’t mine.
I know they watch Fox, I know my mother watches a bunch of far right-wing YouTubers. All of it has led to them barely being functioning adults.
I feel like I’ve seen a lot more posts in just the past few days since I’ve started coming here.
Come on man…
You’re being pedantic. Yes if you choose the least dense wood you can, and the most dense particle board, sure. 👍.
