It has been statistically proven that white women get easier sentences than men of any race. Her age also probably played in to that.

Of course you can’t predict the future, and neither can motorists. What you can do is ride at a speed reasonably slow enough that you can react to people, and you can ride on the side of the pathway further from the doorways.
And like I said already, a bike on person accident at slow speed is favorable to risking my own life or life-changing injury by riding in the street.
If you’re trying to change my mind, stop trying. For anyone reading this, petition your local government to build safe bike lanes with solid barriers and we won’t have to have this argument.
so the only case these apply are when the cyclist isn’t paying attention to their surroundings… which is the real reason it’s dangerous, and when you eliminate that, I would rather have bikes passing next to people than cars passing next to bikes, because the latter is actually deadly when someone does make a mistake
Baseless statement, elaborate
It’s not more dangerous for pedestrians because I am aware and respectful of them.
So tell me exactly how it’s more dangerous for me to be on a further-removed pathway, protected by a curb and other objects like light posts.
It may be hypocritical, but have you considered that all of these forms of entertainment are unhealthy? The only difference is that they get more and more efficient with each generation, causing increasing levels of concern from each generation. That’s indicative of a rising trend
The fact that people have been concerned about this for generations doesn’t automatically nullify the point. Attention and focus are skills which children must develop through boredom and long-form focus. TikTok brain is making that harder and harder for children to learn.
i have said and will continue to say that 4chan has shitty “humor”
Musk is intentionally killing twitter confirmed. First he tried to tank its value and retract his buy offer but was forced in to the purchase by the SEC. So now he’s just playing the long game by killing it step by step with his own hands.
And America can’t be bothered to build safe bike lanes. I refuse to ride my bike on the road. Anyone who doesn’t like me riding on the sidewalk can fuck off
I don’t mean to say all asian people look the same, my statement was overly simple. I can usually tell people of different ethnicities from eachother but it seems chinese people look more similar to other chinese people, japanese people look very similar to eachother, so on. Not suggesting that the entire continent looks the same, and of course there is genetic diversity, but my observation has been that diversity shows less visually among their more homogenous groups/regions
im gonna wait at least several months until it goes on sale. and that way all the good mods will have already been developed
don’t buy launch day, and don’t pay full price, wait for reviews
its impossible asians just look the same
(not true im exaggerating but i definitely feel like there is a lot more genetic homogeneity and they just have more similar features)
its gonna be so completely average
still gotta get the prosecution through though
but i too am hopeful that justice will be served
yeah that shits crazy (tories are crazy) which is why I would never choose the UK if I were to move somewhere european
yeah this is what I’m thinking. The fact that US corps want to pull out of the UK just makes me respect the UK more… not that they don’t have their own problems, EU countries seem to be doing better in general
Fair, but usually I think the thought process is closer to “surrender, or get shot in the head” so the risk of getting exiled by your countrymen or being shamed online is kind of secondary
I can only imagine what is waiting behind that camera if he decides not to cooperate
Meanwhile desantis is somehow making Florida’s education even worse
what you say makes sense, not saying you’re completely wrong, but your whole argument is based off the fact that we have already chosen cars. But simply doubling down on a worse solution just puts us deeper in to the hole, instead of making the more difficult decision of redirecting some of our massive amounts of GDP in to larger scale projects (yknow instead of wasting billions on military spending & corporate bailouts) such as making the investment into the development of a proper rail network BESIDE our existing infrastructure, like china has done for example. (not supporting china but it is true that they have made massive progress in public transportation across a country equally large as ours, in a relatively very short time)
Her fault.
