DNS sinks can often cause elevated traffic numbers because the client is constantly failing and retrying.
I bet if you enabled it to test the numbers would drop dramatically.

So an HDMI connected device that is streaming Netflix is getting screenshot?
I mean, even if it wasn’t a streaming service, but let’s say, video game content, or a blu ray, that is still a violation, and of course, if I’m playing content I made, then it’s violating my copyright.
While trading in general is zero sum, if you believe the product you’re trading has intrinsic value, then no one needs to be holding a bag.
If I sell you a car and you get to use the car, you wouldn’t be holding the bag, because you wanted the car. This applies to stocks, and stock derivatives, as well as commodities.
The problem arises when there isn’t an intrinsic value (or the intrinsic value is very small), such as with NFTs or many cryptos in general.
There are cryptos that have some intrinsic value like monero, since they have fungibility and a use case, but most do not.
The steam deck didn’t exist when the switch came out, it innovated and filled a niche that turned out to be a severely underserved segment of the gaming market.
Nintendo struck gold with the switch, and a ‘switch 2’ likely isn’t going to cut it.
It’s not like Nintendo is infallible, remember the console before the switch was the Wii u.
If your video can be replaced by a title, it probably wasn’t with watching
Tbh I wrote that comment moments after waking up with my eyes barely open.
I hate writing and reading xml compared to json, I don’t really care if one is slightly leaner than the other. If your concern is the size or speed you should probably be rethinking how you serialize the data anyway (orotobuff/DB)
No I don’t, care to share?
Facebook’s Shadow profile on you doesn’t care whether you have an account or visited their site.
It’s fairing a lot better than Michigan.
Yea and that’s more than half of the cars driven in the United States.
RICO laws basically destroyed the Mafia in the us.
Decentralization isn’t the reason, and conflating it with fediverse services is disingenuous.
The reason many cryptos use a lot of power is because of proof of work.
Proof of stake and proof of work have the same effective result for voting power. In order to effectively mine, you need a large capital investment and in order to stay competitive in mining you need to continue spending capital, the same is true for proof of stake as the larger overall stake the lower the payouts, so it requires more capital investment.
I don’t understand how they can disclaim liability for generated libel.
If person A googles person B and receives libelous information, person b was not the one using the service / agreeing to terms / otherwise in a contract, the company can’t just opt you in to an agreement that you had no participation in.
I mean, how do you think websites work? Of course your mouse and keyboard events are available, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to interact with a website at all.
Esdf requires more dexterity and is generally less accessible.
I’m an idiot and misunderstood which key bind was being talked about
It’s overwhelmingly verbose, on mobile (at least in my app) I have to scroll two screen lengths to get past it thanks to all the embeds.
It’s a combination.
Most captchas goals generally aren’t 100% prevention, it’s to put a workload in front, this makes spamming the site cost money, a bankrolled attempt could just as easily outsource the captchas to real humans.
