Fair enough. I’m usually using my computer when I remember that I should have done something on my server a few days before 🙈

Just to check, can’t you remote into it instead? I use NoMachine, but there are lots of alternatives that might suit you better 🙂
Devices that you already own (PCs, smartphones, tablets, Fire TV devices, and smart TVs) can become your gaming devices, and Luna also supports peripherals that you already own, such as Xbox One and PlayStation 4 controllers, and mouse + keyboard.
This is the part that interests me the most. I’ve got a handful of controllers that I’ve tried using with my phone in the past with not much luck. If they work with Luna, I’ve instantly got a decent library of games to play anywhere :)
Just to note, this doesn’t apply to the UK. Our trains are generally useless and expensive.
Top Gear was around in the 70s?
;)
That looks really handy, thanks :)
I’ve just downloaded Fedora Kinoite to try with my Ventoy drive (I refer the KDE layout :) )
Does it give you a choice at startup, similar to the Grub menu, or do you have to do something to bring the option up?
Depending on what you’re doing, Krita is worth a look. I gave it a go for cropping and lightly editing some photos recently, and then tried their version of the clone stamp tool. It’s hidden under the brushes presets, but worked better than the Photoshop tool 👍
If Nancy Wilson was the singer, yes. I was listening to the song recently and thought that Katey Sagal was singing it, especially when they sing the ‘Ooh, barracuda’ part.
Here’s something that might blow your mind - watch a few episodes, then listen to Barracuda by Heart.
It’s not her :o
Emojis evolved from the smileys we had in the late 90s, which were mostly yellow, but could be in various colours, like red for the angry face. Those smileys evolved from the text versions like these :) or :D
It has been an unwritten agreement since forever (or at least as long as there have been ads on the web) that if you consume the content, you pay the creator by looking at the ads on their site.
Downvoted because this is objectively wrong.
I’ve been using the internet since the mid 90s, and there were very few ads then. The ads that did exist were mainly banner ads pointing to other sites, for example. Ad companies got wise to them and started posting their own ads, then started using invasive technology like popup ads and animated ads.
From the first time these types of ads were used, there have been complaints against them, and adblockers were developed.
At no point did I agree to view ads on the internet, and the vast majority of people only put up with them because they don’t know that there’s a way to get rid of them.
They’re supposed to be better at preventing RSI
In my defence it’s late at night here 🙈
While I agree with you, if OP is spending money on a remote, they may as well try to find an original remote. They’re unlikely to be expensive, and will have all the correct buttons :)
Definitely not Roman wine. Last time we drank that, I got hammered!
Be careful with MediaMonkey, it can incorrectly change your files.
I’ve got dozens, if not hundreds of songs where it’s changed the track number to the play count, and I’ve got a load where it’s decreased the volume by a significant amount, presumably as part of the volume leveling function.
I don’t use anything else to play or manage my music, and nothing has permission to affect it this way.
All the test strips I’ve ever used hold the blood at the opposite end to the machine. The blood is intentionally kept away and on something that can easily be disposed of.
As far as I can tell, the bulk of the testing strip is a conductor to take a signal from the end with the blood to the tester, which makes it seem like there’s some sort of reaction on the blood end.
