That’s the question. Let’s say Trump makes himself dictator. Who’s going to inherit the title when Trump eventually dies from old age or from falling out of a Russian window?

Objects are great for game programming.
Stuff like enemies, bullets, loot, items, etc. are constantly changing and affecting each other. This makes it difficult to program in fixed functions that run through and crosscheck a bunch of constantly changing arrays. It makes logical sense to have objects with their own functions stored in dynamic lists instead of arrays. A lot of the properties are used by several different objecs, like coordinates or health points, so it also makes sense to describe them in classes.
So, I’d say that it’s a useful way to classify data that is very dynamic, or when different functions need to run depending on that data.
I don’t like putting all code into classes, because a lot of code doesn’t need that kind of flexibility.
It gives me flashbacks to his first term, many mooches ago.
He’s going to play the Apprentice role again, in which he tries to increase tv ratings by randomly hiring and firing as many people as possible in every episode.
Will the MAGAs back Vance without Trump?
Not through the mouth though.
Jokes about airline food are so plane.
However, cab drivers always go an extra mile.
Ok, I’ll take a guess: Morning glory.
There’s no good reason for getting a non-stimulated erection at the same time that you also needs to empty your bladder after a good nights sleep.
That’s not universal at all and completely wrong in large parts of the world.
In all the Nordic countries, who do ride bicycles very much, and in much of Europe, the right arm is used for signalling right turns, and the left arm for left turns and stopping/slowing. The stop sign is almost what you describe as a right turn: left arm up as an L and open palm. The left arm is used for stop, because it’s most visible when riding/driving on the right side.
Left turns are mostly used on small roads, because in larger intersections the cyclist should preferably make an “orientation stop” to make two straight crossings instead.
This signalling system was introduced many years ago when most bikes had pedal brakes, so there were no issues in braking while signalling with either arm. It can be slightly annoying for bikes with hand brakes only, since the front brake is on the left (which is also not a universal design). But it works, people do use it, and they do expect others to use it when it makes a difference. For instance, it would be considered rude to make a right turn without signalling if there are cars waiting to turn right, because the bicycle has the right of way it were to continue straight.
It’s also not the same for mopeds and motorcycles, because they should always use indicator lights, but in case it doesn’t have those and since the accelerator and front brake are on the right hand, they can only use the left arm to signal in those rare situations.
The only times I’ve seen cars using hand signals have been at veteran shows where the passenger would do the right turn signal.
I mean… it’s been more than 24 hours by now, hasn’t it?
We had one new guy getting fired for “refusing to talk to people who don’t have a university degree”.
This will mainly hurt the American industries. The rest of the world is moving on, whether or not USA is on board.
This is why I don’t showcase my creative works to family and friends.
I’m thinking worldwide. George Bush paved the way for a lot of populistic right wing politicians in other countries, showing that reckless incompetence is fine as long as you put on a suit and pretend to know something about economy.
He then dragged the entire ensemble of headnodding clowns into a war in Iraq on a false premise. Yes, Saddam was an asshole and needed to go, but he did not have chemical weapons. The entire war was about taking full control of oil, that Bush’s croonies had planned long beforehand.
Then there was a little financial crisis called “the great recession” in 2007 and onwards, and of course history has a tendency to point backwards, but I think it’s fair to say that the complete lack of oversight of the financial institutions was the main cause. The cause of this crisis was G. Bush Junior and all the other conservative government leaders in suits claiming to be “fiscally responsible”. If only they had been “financially conservative” that would’ve better, but they didn’t even attempt. It was pretty much as irresponsible as it gets.
I don’t think Trump or the USA as a whole can litteraly destroy the environment, because they’re not that many, 300m people of 8 billion worldwide, and I also don’t think Trump will initiate any wars directly, but they’ll do nothing to stop the existing wars, and we will see a worldwide financial crisis as soon as the next budget doesn’t get approved or earlier.
This election has the same dreadful feeling as 2000.
Nevermind the crazyness, it’s the certainty that something worldwide bad is going to happen due to the incompetence of the American government.
About a week maximum.
The taste changes over time, so I prefer using them in 1-2 days.
It’s detachable in my fridge.
I use the egg holder on the door shelf for small bottles that would otherwise fall over when the door is opened. Medicine or nail polish, that sort of thing.
I also the egg holder to … hold the eggs … after they’re boiled, so I can fill the egg cooker instead of boiling just a few at a time. I use cold boiled eggs for sandwiches or salats.
I do not use it for holding raw eggs as those already come in an egg shaped carton.
Maybe Biden could pack the Supreme Court before leaving office.
It wouldn’t be a great idea in the long run, but it’d potentially stop the entire system from functioning right now.
not sure what a ceremonial rich dude could have done.
This is the kind of situation in which a king (or president) can make a difference.
Royalty don’t have any direct power to order people to do things, but they do have a voice with quite a broad reach. Whenever the king speaks, people will hear it. Even if they don’t care about the king.
In a time where people are getting their information from sources curated to fit their own political bubble or economical interests, it’s quite powerful to be able to reach a whole country across political and economic interests.
Royalties can’t dictate, but they can encourage and motivate people to work together on a common goal despite of their differences.
When something is seriously threatening the country, it would be nice if the king would bother making a motivational speech, so that people, companies and politicians could see the purpose of uniting against the common threat.
It might not sway the opinions of people or companies who have strong interests in not doing anything differently, but it will boost the morale of people trying to do their best, enabling them to rest assured that they’re doing the right thing despite of what others might do. We could say it’s a really vague forn of long term meta-politics, but sometimes that’s also all that is needed to set a direction.
It’s not political as such, but more like “yo let’s save this sinking ship” instead of passivily watching it happen. It won’t fix anything by itself, but it’s a good start. Without a good start and set direction, you can be sure that nothing will ever change.
The posted article and me.
I’m a union representative and it bothers me that people always jump to the $$$-question. That’s only rarely what strikes are about. Look at the ongoing Tesla strike in Sweden. They were paid over market wages and they still strike, because it’s not about pay.
My own contract doesn’t even mention pay, except that we have the right to annual negotiation. This right has lead to higher wages than any minimum wage agreement will ever do. We’re not here to fight for back pocket scrap metal, we just want a balanced relationship between employees and employers.
This is just difficult to see for anyone who is still working on the employers terms only, or someone who is used to consider jobs “take it or leave it”, instead of taking pride in what they do because they want to do the job.
It’s the meme timeframe for employees under Trump. It’s about 10 days, but really -3 days.
Trump hired Anthony Scarramucci (The Mooch) as White House Communications Director to start on August 2017.
As a good boi, he started the job right away on July 21, leaving his pregnant wife at the hospital.
Trump then hired John Kelly and John Kelly fired the Mooch on July 28.
