Doesn’t help that the official one is on aliexpress with a bunch of knock offs. But the actual pinecil works really well with the same 60w charger I use with my pixel 4a.

I’d say neutral. Since you can install gapps (e.g. Playstore, gmail) for convenience and less privacy. Or microG instead of gapps.
Definitely considering switching to proton. It’s just the 1gb limit that seems like an issue for me. Otherwise the free tier seems fine for me I don’t email that often.
