Cool, more free stuff! Fresh as a morning breeze.

Check, check, check, check. Wow.
Once in a while I check the installed packages for a possible dependency on GTK and when I find a program which has one, I look for an alternative to have one dependency less.
The last time I replaced simple-scan with skanlite and it is a much much better scanning program and with a more pleasant ui on top.
So, let me get this straight. I will make a list of things I do not understand and I hope you can clear these points up to me. Please reference them in your reply so I understand to which of these points you are referring to.
I am exposing myself here because I do not understand the situation and am wondering why everybody is wondering the Police had to mop this up.
I’m happy to say “i use arch btw” (actually CachyOS but without most of the weird cachyos-stuff but still using their v3 repositories) for about two weeks now. It’s pretty great so far, no breakages or anything, feels very responsive and updates are much quicker to do, too, because pacman works really fast.
Alongside with Debian Sid and flakified NixOS of course…
apt-get install qbittorrent
why would I visit their site for any reason?
And just to add - why is torrenting associated with shady stuff? Linux isos are available and download much faster over it, same for some monolithic applications like LibreOffice and other regular stuff.
Don’t buy trash in the first place. Better for the environment, better for your workflows.
Debian sid user here. If it appears now or in two weeks in the repo does not change anything for me as I don’t depend on the changes for my workflows. For Debian Stable I actually demand them to come much later, in a mostly bugfree version. What’s the rush when it probably needs more field-testing?
Open Source and Open API or bust. Simple as that for me.
What? How can you compare these two scenarios??? Oh my god, there really is nothing to be achieved with talking to the likes of you.
I’m quite disappointed how rabid, mischievous and ill-wishing people have become. Really, what’s going on here on lemmy?
Anyhoo, have a read at these two posts about owners having rust marks on their cars and how they are easily removed. They seem to be rusting particles from train transportation or other environmental stuff:
No, I don’t own one and don’t plan to.
What are the downvotes for?
Oh boy. I’m out. Sorry to have y’all disturbed in your echo chamber opinions.
Have fun with the downvotes.
No need to frame anyone. It’s just a question and if there would be so many supporters if they wouldn’t count at least as collaborateurs.
That’s not even a comparison
So the kilometers of tunnels under civilian houses and institutions were not built for decades with at least consent from the people living there?
The two state solution was rejected, several times, in the past from Palestine.
If 70% of Palestine people passively and actively support Hamas, are the protesters Pro-Hamas?
Edit: downvoters are just in denial. I mean, really, ask yourself this question. And it’s a hypothetical question nontheless so… no shame
Dude, you chose the wrong way.
