If you live somewhere rural…birdwatching.
Combination is the best way.
Want to reheat a pizza slice? Microwave for half a minute/minute then in the air fryer to crisp it up. Ends up better than the first time around many times imo and done in seconds if you heat the air fryer up to 200°c first

UK. It’s been absolute fucking shite this summer. Rain, rain and more fucking rain.
Last year was scorching hot to the point of being unbearable. Not this year. It’s fucking pissing it down right now in fact.
That would be incredible
To be fair, I didn’t know the reason - I didn’t read any further than skimming the gist of the text. All I knew was 1. My access is being blocked 2. They are incorrectly assuming I’m from some other site 3. There’s some drama between the two. And finally 4. I’m closing this tab. Those were my thoughts. It took mere seconds for me to lose interest in this distro forever. And it actually sounds cool, as an M1 Macbook owner.
If it is as you say then yeah, that’s not just petty - but my point still stands, this is a fucking stupid way of going about this.
It just really winds me up. If I’m going to get caught in the crosshairs of petty drama, especially when I’ve literally only just heard of the project then I’m out. It’s pathetic.
Here’s a screenshot: (https://i.postimg.cc/kXhMTV2R/Screenshot-2023-08-02-16-16-15-08-3aea4af51f236e4932235fdada7d1643.jpg)
I’ve never even heard of anything called Hacker news before. This message is a really fucking cuntish thing to do. What the fuck has it got to do with me?
It’s entirely put me off anything this distro could offer, no matter what it is. Devs are pricks. If they are going to pull this shit on their website, who knows what shit they’ll pull in their distro.
Fwiw, I’m using Jerboa on android with Firefox plus ublock as my browser. I’ve done nothing but click on that link from my lemmy feed.
Just tried clicking that link, and got a huge pop up refusing me access to the site, and accusing me from being from a site called Hacker News (???).
Well. I was interested in seeing what Asahi Linux is. Now I don’t think I’ll ever bother.
Spoken like someone who clearly doesn’t work in finance.
The numpad is essential for my work. You’re not seeing it from the perspective of myself who uses it as a calculator with automatic text entry while producing documents and estimations. That is my job, and it requires the numpad/calculator layout.
He’s a cunt just like Johnson was a cunt and I’d have the same opinion if I were fucking blind. Skin colour means shit.
But I live in a rural English town where the most exciting thing that happens is the elderly folk fighting over who has control over the flowers near the rectory. Are you saying they are russian agents? For real?
Edit: and now you’ve edited your post, making mine seem like nonsense.

Weird, mine has been absolutely rock solid. And I don’t touch the oculus software, just SteamVR. I’ve played hundreds of hours of Bonelab and Half Life 2 VR etc
The only issue I’ve ever had is having to replug in the usb cable at the start if my pc is started up with it plugged in… but as it’s almost always stored in a box unless I use it, that’s rarely ever a problem.
Maybe it’s the connector on the cable end that plugs into the headset that’s dodgy in your case
Don’t bother.
I tried this route, you’ll be disappointed. I would advise getting a pre-owned Rift S which are cheap as fuck now.
Works perfectly with steam VR, and has proper tracking controllers. You can’t play Half Life Alyx with the PlayStation set - you can with a rift s. You’re basically cutting out the vast majority of PC VR experiences if you go with the PSVR.
Also you don’t need a Facebook account for the rift s, unlike the quest headsets.
Yeah, hasn’t stopped me in…15 years? Half my entire library is pirated and emulator shortcuts lol
No
I’ve installed cracked windows versions of games on the steam deck before, adding them as a non steam game, going to properties and setting them to boot with proton. I even installed a few this way by adding the installer exe as a non steam game and running that in desktop mode, under proton. It’s a hassle to find where it installed it after, but it worked for me anyhow
I do love my Deck and use it all the time. It is also the most frustrating piece of kit I’ve owned in a long while.
I’ve always been concerned about the build quality too. Mine is well looked after, only 7 months since new, and I keep it in the case when not used. I noticed literally yesterday theres a crack in the upper front portion of the deck housing, directly middle above the LCD. How?!
