After 2001-09-11, the US government kidnapped and tortured innocent Canadian citizens, including a child soldier. Omar Kahdr, a Canadian citizen, spent his childhood in Guantanamo. Meher Arar, another Canadian citizen, was kidnapped and shipped across the ocean to Syria where agents tortured him for weeks at the behest of American authorities looking for information he did not possess. But they were brown and Canada didn’t care. My fellow Canadians should have been shunning the USA for the last nearly quarter century. At least they finally got the memo now that white people are being affected.

I disagree here. I completely feel for the wage slaves killed at the towers and the effects on the first responders. All the government reactions like the Patriot act and tsa and iraq was total bs.
