      It would appear to be about 2 years worth of Russia’s domestic arty shell production capacity… not sure about how many shells they normally fire per month or year…

    I wonder if it’s possible for them to target production as well. If Russia is already relying on asses to carry their ordnance to the front-lines, they must’ve done some damage already.

    They have been stockpiling these since the USSR days. Two years worth of production is a lot, but they started the war with 70 years of production in storage and have been dumping ~5 years of production per year on Ukraine.

      While this is sorta true, a metric fuck ton of this ammo has been sold to other nations. Back when 54r and mosins came to the US, you could buy pallets of the ammo and rifles for pretty much nothing. Same with x39 shit was just flowing off the shelf. It’s how I got big into that round because it was so damn cheap, and my mini 30s ate it like nothing.
