I think any content creator that makes content you enjoy. Podcasts, music, whatever. Support whoever makes you happy.
For $1 MorePurpleMoreBetter gives you an incredible PDF that creates D&D character sheets in moments. Priceless.
Drawfee consistently churn out a lot of videos and streams each week so I have no issue tipping them
HBomberGuy donating the proceeds from his latest video exposing plagiarism, with +20M views and took months to research and create, to the people who were stolen from earns him a tip too
Speaking of D&D Patreons, Conflux Creatures creates more interesting versions of thousands of monsters; using those had really spiced up my game, since the players have no Idea how combats are going to go any more.
A lot of independent musical artists have hours of B-sides, covers, and livestreams you get access to whenever you donate.
Dwarf Fortress and Pukebeard are my two patreons to point at.
I have gotten more hours of enjoyment out of Dwarf Fortress than any other video game… and I think funding small creators helps spur innovation in content. Find some niche creator doing something you love, give them 10/video or whatever their medium is, help them go independent.
Holy hell, DF somehow never dawned on me when I was deciding which patreons I should support a whileback. The amount of fun that game has provided is insane for something free.
Context: I used to work onboard ships, 5 weeks at a time, with really shit internet. And once I’d exhausted all the media I’d downloaded while at home, DF was what kept me entertained for four years.
Subscribing as soon as I’m back on my PC.
These dingdongs who are part of the Cracked diaspora. Non-stop hilarity and far too many deranged artifacts from the wrong universe.
god I miss Cracked
The site is very reminiscent of early 2010s Cracked. Plus they have three associated podcasts that are fantastic and just so delightfully insane.
Much of the rest of the Cracked greats are doing… great things! Soren Bowie writes for American Dad and Daniel O’Brien is a head writer on Last Week Tonight… and they have a podcast called Quick Question.
Alex Schmidt and Katie Goldin do Secretly Incredibly Fascinating. Cody Johnston and Katy Stoll do Some More News. And then there’s king of the bastards, Robert Evans ;)
Also the dude that wrote the John Dies at the End book series. David Wong.
aka TikTok star Jason Pargin, frequent guest on Behind the Bastards and also on Dogg Zzone 9000… but most importantly, co-host of Bigfeets!
Soren Bowie writes for American Dad
Woah, I did not know that!

Might just be a me thing, but this guy puts out a new wallpaper almost every week and they’re all amazing. The higher tiers allow you to participate in choosing the next wallpaper, but they’re mostly for 1080p, 1440p, and 2160p. Buying in once gets you the whole lot of everything he’s done until now.

Jon started his own online radio station after years in radio, seeing great music getting no love.
His passion for music is worldclass, and he has decided to share that passion with the world.
This patreon helps to support a commercial free SOCAN licensed broadcast of ad free rock music. This is an amazing resource to connect with what is happening in rock that no one else(or not many) is providing.
All songs are 36 months old or newer.

Bookpilled. If you’re into science fiction books, he’s a great YouTuber to check out.
edit: Also, he does extra videos on his Patreon. But if you don’t like him try Outlaw Bookseller and Media Death Cult.
Cathode Ray Dude - Small-ish youtuber who makes the kind of stuff I like.
Note to self: Need to add my new card.I support a YouTuber, Joel Bocko, aka Lost in the Movies.
His coverage of Twin Peaks is second to none IMO, and I’ve had literally days (possibly weeks, in fact) of enjoyment from his videos, podcasts and writing on that, and on cinema and TV generally.
Well worth it if you love movies, particularly more art-house ones although that’s not all he covers either.
He’s also a really nice guy, very engaged with comments, questions, etc.
NurdRage for chemistry goodness.
Channel 5 is the only one I’ve ever subscribed to
It’s such a unique view at parts of society that others would never look at or take the time to even acknowledge. Putting themselves often in extremely sketchy or even illegal situations for the sake of the story. Real gonzo journalism you just don’t normally see these days. Andrew is a modern day Hunter Thompson.
Wanderer’s Guide for Pathfinder 2e character sheets Liberation Martial Arts for a leftist understanding of martial arts And half a dozen (mostly NSFW) artists
Jacob Cellar, but he uses Cosmic IIRC
Band: Manchester Orchestra
They post something at least weekly. Live performances, acoustic versions of their songs, covers, demos, podcasts, etc.
